Janna

Janna is now 15 and going into 10th grade.  She is about an inch and a half taller than I am and enjoys that way too much.  She laughs like crazy when she puts on heels and towers over me.

She has a passion for writing, languages and music.  She enjoys Cosplay and special effects make up.  One of her favorite shows is Face Off as it gives her new ideas.  When she started getting interested in FX Brian took her to our now favorite place to get fake blood and such.  Imagine my surprise when I walked in and there is Janna standing there looking like she had gotten into a fight.

I took one look at her and burst into tears.  She's wiping away my tears with a laugh saying "it's ok mom, it's just make up."  She even showed me how it would come off but I couldn't stop crying.  It was awful to see my sweet girl with bruises and this mom couldn't handle it.  We can laugh about it now but I didn't take her newfound passion well the first time.

Since then I have learned I never know what I will come too.  Like the time she did this bloody make-up making it look like her mouth had been sewn shut.  Another time she painted my face gray/green, and turned me into a gargoyle.  She is good at what she does and it's fun watching her learn a new technique or create her own.
